What If...

*What if everything you perceived as truth was false and everything you thought were lies, were true.

We often look at letting go as when, instead of as an if. We are waiting for a defining moment to mark our shift, but what if your mental capacity was unable to see it when it arrived, because of a misguided expectation? Change involves, letting go of something to gain greater then what you may see as a loss.

The concept of letting go is not easily processed, the action, is often deeply projected in an idea and is just the right prelude to the song that we want people to hear and not necessarily the song that’s the true testament of our life. Most people hide behind a smoke screen and cover up what’s really beyond the fog of confusion, because there are times that we may understand, the why, something need to happen but not, the how its going to happen. Instead we stand along the shore of decisions, hoping for the moment that everything "suddenly" happens.

Yes, suddenly's do happen, but within the confines of instructions. In the bible, Acts 2:2 describes a suddenly moment, but within context, they waited, as instructed, first. They were all in expectation exemplifying a united fervor. Their action of waiting was because of their trust in what was said which manifested obedience to the instructions, their attitude was one of anticipation and their wills were united. They all wanted the same thing. Does the whole of you want the same thing, or is your will split? Does you mind and emotions want the same thing, or are you in battle with yourself?

Romans 7:15-20(AMP)

V15. For I do not understand my own actions [I am baffled and bewildered by them]. I do not practice what I want to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate [and yielding to my human nature, my worldliness—my sinful capacity].

To let go requires a complete change of culture within. We tend to believe what we perceive, thereby, holding to a hope, that’s masked in the lies we’ve told ourselves. Therefore nothing becomes a matter of when, but if, because the hope of manifestation is contingent upon if you act accordingly.

Have you ever felt stuck, immobilized, stagnant? What if the reason was because everything you thought was true were really the lie that has kept you confined. Sometimes our inability to conform to a way outside of what we deem as convenient is the reason for stagnation, we don't like waiting.

There are many times that we are waiting for the tide to change when the tide needing change is our own thinking. There are times that we continue to try and fit a key that's not cut for the door we are trying to open because its the only method we know or its what we are comfortable with.

Again, Our perception of truth is hidden in what we believe and how we perceive what we believe. Unfortunately, sometimes our truth is only true to us, or the culture we live within.

*What if letting go was more of a mindset than an action that involved us needing to embrace a truth that was never true to us, to see the truth of what could be.

*What if, the reason for not letting go of what is, was because we are stuck within our own insane perceived truth.

*What if, the change we seek, is to stop, doing the same thing, and expecting a different result.

*What if, the truth is the answer we thought was the wrong answer for our situation.

*What if, our freedom to let go only exist in what we don't yet obtain.

Isaiah 55:8,9 (AMPC) read,

V8. For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways, says the Lord.

V9. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.

*What if, you are incapable of processing effectively because of the block within your own understanding

Philippians 2:5-11 (AMPC) read,

V5. Let this same attitude and purpose and [humble] mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus: [Let Him be your example in humility:]

*What if your humanly pride was blinding you and holding you hostage

Proverbs 16:9 (AMPC)

V9. A man’s mind plans his way, but the Lord directs his steps and makes them sure.

*What if, it was your own way, getting in the way of your let go.

QUESTION THAT!!!

For some, the question of what if, is the snare that keep you tied down in doubt and stagnant, leaving you no room to breathe, but only you can determine whether its your, "when", or your "if" that is at question, keeping you reaching, never to let go of whats really holding you back from receiving your promise.

RECEIVE THAT!!!

What truth are you resisting or missing?

1 Kings 18:43 Amplified Bible (AMP)

43 and he said to his servant, “Go up, look toward the sea.” So he went up and looked and said, “There is nothing.” Elijah said, “Go back” seven times.

To challenge your will and your understanding, let go of how you think its suppose to go and Go back and look again!!! "What if", its going to happen "when" you do it again!?!?
